FAQs for existing customers

  • I have an existing Small Amount Credit Contract (Small Loan or Cash Advance), what do these changes mean for me?

There are no changes to your existing loan terms, balance, or repayments. You can continue to use your loan just like before.

  • Why are you not offering Small Amount Credit Contracts post 25 September 2025?

We are simplifying our services with this lower cost, flexible product that’s been designed with you – our customers – in mind. With no upfront or monthly fees and flexible, ongoing access to your money as you need it, we’re thrilled about the Cashies Loan.

  • What about Cash Advance?

We will no longer offer a Cash Advance product.

  • Can you still help me if I have a cash need that is smaller than the new minimum loan amount of $2,050?

From 25 September 2025, we will no longer have a personal loan product available for loans of less than $2,050.

  • What is the difference between the Small Amount Credit Contract and the Cashies Loan?

A Small Amount Credit Contract is a fixed term product under $2,000 which provided customers with access to a one-off lump sum. The Cashies Loan is available for those that want to borrow a minimum of $2,050 and want a loan which can be used for ongoing and unexpected purchases over time.

The Cashies Loan is a continuing credit contract which allows multiple redraws for ongoing needs whereas the Small Amount Credit Contract is a lump sum advanced to fund a one-off expense. In addition, the Cashies Loan is a longer term credit contract which allows for payments over a 36 month period whereas the SACC has a fixed term of 12 months. In addition, the Small Amount Credit Contract has a 20% establishment fee.

  • Can I still apply for a Small Amount Credit Contract before the end of September?

You can still apply for a Small Amount Credit Contract until the product is removed from our site. This will happen on 25 September 2025.
