1958 Rolex Datejust 36mm with Stunning Green Dial

Wow! What a spectacular example of a vintage piece from Rolex. This watch was manufactured in 1958, for the initial release of the ref 1601 version of the 36mm DateJust. This watch features a stunning green, Pie-Pan Dial, which is quite hard to find. The fluted 18K White Gold bezel complements this 36mm stainless oyster case and stainless steel jubilee bracelet perfectly to create a beautiful, understated appearance that would be perfectly suited as a daily watch, or one worn only on special occasions.

I cannot believe how well this time capsule has been preserved. It would be a great addition to any collector's quiver. As with all of their watches of this era, the face is Acrylic Crystal and there there are no scratches on the face of the watch. It may require a very slight adjustment to the date window, however, it is not noticeable in normal usage, but can be seen with a loupe.
