For the purpose of these Terms:
Cash Converters means Cash Converters Pty Ltd ABN 75 009 288 804;
Cash Converters Stones Corner means the store located at Shop 2/456 Logan Rd, Greenslopes QLD 4120; and
Competition means the “Stones Corner Grocery Gift Card Draw" Competition;
Competition Period means the period from 9.00am (AEST) Monday, 11 November 2024 to 11.59pm (AEST) Wednesday, 27 November 2024.
Entrant means a customer who qualifies for the automatic Entry to the Competition in compliance with the Eligibility Rules;.
Entry means a raffle ticket to enter into the draw for the Prize by sell an item to the value of $50 or more at Cash Converters Stones Corner, subject to the Terms;
Excluded Persons means:
Prizes means four (4) Coles Myer gift cards, each with a value of $100, subject to any qualifications under these Terms;
Prize Winner means one of the four (4) Entrants selected by Cash Converters to redeem the Prize in the Competition; and
Prize Winning Entry means an Entry selected by Cash Converters to win a Prize.
Terms means the terms and conditions.
Eligibility Rules
1. In order to be eligible to enter, the Entrant must:
a) agree to the Terms;
b) be a natural person aged 18 years or over;
c) not be disqualified by virtue of Elibility Rule 2;
d) provide a correct name, valid home address, valid email address and daytime contact phone number;
e) be an Australian resident.
2. Excluded Persons are not eligible to enter.
3. If there is a dispute as to the identity or eligibility of an Entrant, Cash Converters reserves the right, in its absolute and unfettered discretion, to determine the eligibility of the Entrant.
4. The Competition will be open to Entrants for the duration of the Competition Period.
5. Only Entries received during the Competition Period will be acceptable for consideration as a Prize Winning Entry by Cash Converters.
Entry to the Competition
6. To enter the Competition and submit an Entry, the Entrant must sell an item to the value of $50 or more at Cash Converters Stones Corner during the Competition Period. The number of entries is limited to one per person.
7. For the avoidance of doubt the value of the item a customer wishes to sell or loan against will be determined by Cash Converters using its sole discretion.
Determination of Winner
8. Cash Converters acting in its absolute and unfettered discretion, will select four (4) Prize Winners who are the first customer details drawn at random from the accumulated Entries at Cash Converters Stones Corner on each of the following dates:
a. Thursday, 14 November 2024 at 5pm AEST;
b. Thursday, 21 November at 5pm AEST; and
c. Thursday, 28 November 2024 at 5pm AEST.
9. For the avoidance of doubt:
a) one (1) Prize Winning Entry will be drawn;
b) a Prize Winner is only elligible to recieve one (1) Prize; and
c) the accumulated Entries will be comprised of all Entries up to the date of the relevant draw.
Prize Conditions
10. The Prize Winners will receive one (1) Coles Myer Gift Card to the value of $100.
11. The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or a partial credit.
12. The Prize will be collected by the Prize Winner from Cash Converters Stones Corner. The Prize Winners will be notified via phone call.
13. If any of the Prize Winners are unable to be contacted after three (3) attempted phone calls over two (2) days, a new Prize Winner will be drawn on the Monday immediately following the relevant draw (for example, if the original draw occurs on Thursday, 7 November 2024 then the new Prize Winner will be drawn on Monday, 11 November 2024). The new Prize Winner will be contacted via phone call.

General Conditions
15. The Entrant agrees that Cash Converters may use the Entry for marketing or promotional purposes until such time you withdraw your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by opting out of the communication or in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
16. The Entrant acknowledges and agrees that the selection of their Entry as the Prize Winning Entry does not represent or confer any endorsement or sponsorship of the Entrant by Cash Converters.
17. In its absolute and unfettered discretion, Cash Converters reserves their right at any time to:
a) verify the validity of Entries and Entrants (including an Entrant's legal identity, age and place of residence);
b) invalidate any Entry received from an Entrant who is subsequently determined to be ineligible or disqualified under these Terms; or
c) disqualify an Entrant or modify, suspend or terminate the Competition or Prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law and may consider doing so in the event of either interference to the conduct of the Competition or change of circumstances that was not reasonably anticipated and is beyond the reasonable control of Cash Converters.
18. By participating in the Competition, the Entrant:
a) consents to Cash Converters Stones Corner and its contractors or agents to collect, use and disclose personal information about the Entrant information in accordance with Cash Converters Privacy Policy (which can be found at: http://www.cashconverters.com.au/privacypolicy) to Cash Converters, its contractors and agents, for the purpose of conducting the Competition; and
b) consents to Cash Converters and its contractors and agents sending promotional, marketing and publicity information. At Cashies, we’re all for our customers – That’s why we only want to contact you about the things that matter to you. We’ll only send you information about what Cashies can offer you now and in the future, including financial products, like small and medium amounts of credit, or a line of credit. You can withdraw your consent at anytime by opting out of the communication or in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
c) grants Cash Converters a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide revocable, non-transferable, perpetual licence to use, modify, delete from, add to, publicly display and reproduce their photo including without limitation, in any online media formats and through any social media channels, pages or accounts.
The entrant is able to revoke this licence at any time by contacting Cash Converters directly through our relevant social media channels, accounts, or socialmedia.au@cashconverters.com and informing Cash Converters that they no longer want their photo used.
19. To the extent permitted by law, Cash Converters Stones Corner (including their respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (whether in contract or tort) for any personal injury; economic loss or damages (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way through the Competition out of the following:
a) any technical difficulties, operational failures or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Cash Converters);
b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
c) any entry form that is late submitted, lost, altered, illegible, incomplete, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after its receipt by Cash Converters) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Cash Converters.
d) any variation in the Prize's particulars or value to that stated in these Terms; or
e) any tax liability incurred by the Prize Winner or Entrant.
20. The decision of Cash Converters in relation to any aspect of the Competition will be final and binding.
21. Failure by Cash Converters to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
