For the purposes of these Terms:

Cash Converters means Cash Converters, located at 553 Ruthven Street, Toowoomba, QLD 4350.

Promotion means the “Spooky giveaway - Cash Converters Toowoomba” Promotion.

Promotion Period means the period from 1 Oct 2025 to 31 Oct 2025.

Entrant means a person who is entered into the Promotion in accordance with paragraph 5 and complies with the Eligibility Rules.

Entry means an instance where an Entrant's details are entered into the Promotion, subject to these Terms.

Excluded Persons means:

·         any directors and employees of Cash Converters and any Cash Converters franchisees and any of their directors and employees;

·         principals and staff of any agency (including but not limited to marketing and advertising agencies) currently engaged by Cash Converters;

·         principals and staff of any current supplier appointed by Cash Converters, including any Immediate families of such persons; or

·         "Immediate family" includes partner/spouse, grandparents, parents, stepparents, siblings and step-siblings, children and step-children (whether natural or by adoption), uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, first cousins and grandchildren.

Prize means $500 jewellery voucher to be used at Cash Converters, subject to any qualifications set out in these Terms.

Prize Winner means the person with the Prize Winning Entry.

Prize Winning Entry means an Entry selected by Cash Converters in accordance with paragraph 8.

Terms means these terms and conditions.

Eligibility Rules

1.              In order to be eligible to enter, the Entrant must:

a)              agree to these Terms;

b)             be a natural person aged 18 years or over;

c)              be an Australian resident;

d)             not be an Excluded Person;

e)             provide a correct name, valid home address, valid email address and daytime
contact phone number;

f)               comply with the conditions set out in paragraph 5, below.

2.              If there is a dispute as to the identity or eligibility of an Entrant, Cash Converters reserves the right, in its absolute and unfettered discretion, to determine the eligibility of the Entrant.

3.              The Promotion will be open to Entrants for the duration of the Promotion Period.

4.              Only Entries received during the Promotion Period will be acceptable for consideration as a prize-winning entry by Cash Converters.

Entry to the Promotion

5.              A customer’s details will be automatically entered into the promotion where, during the Promotion Period, the customer completes a jewellery buy transaction.

at Cash Converters Toowoomba.

6.              Each eligible transaction is equal to one (1) Entry into the draw. There is no limit to the number of Entries per person.

7.              For the avoidance of doubt, where something is said to be of a certain ‘value’, such value is determined by Cash Converters in its sole discretion.

Determination of Winner

8.              At 4:00 pm AEST on 31 Oct 2025, Cash Converters’ Store Manager will make a random selection from the Entries and that Entry will be the Prize Winning Entry .

Prize Conditions

9.              The Prize Winner will win the Prize.

10.          The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or a partial credit.

11.          The Prize must be redeemed in one transaction.

12.          The Prize expires by 1 December 2025.

13.          The winner will be notified by phone using the contact details provided at the time of entry.

14.          The Promoter will make three (3) phone call attempts per day up until 3 November 2025.

15.          If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond by 3 November 2025, the winner will forfeit the Prize, and a redraw will take place using the same process until a valid winner is determined.

16.          The Prize Winner must be available to redeem their prize at Cash Converters Toowoomba.

General Conditions

17.          The Entrant acknowledges and agrees that the selection of their Entry as the Prize Winning Entry does not represent or confer any endorsement or sponsorship of the Entrant by Cash Converters.

18.          In its absolute and unfettered discretion, Cash Converters reserves its right to, at any time:

a)              verify the validity of Entries and Entrants (including an Entrant's legal identity, age and place of residence);

b)             invalidate any Entry received from an Entrant who is subsequently determined to be ineligible or disqualified under these Terms; or

c)              disqualify an Entrant or modify, suspend or terminate the Promotion or Prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law and may consider doing so in the event of either interference to the conduct of the Promotion or change of circumstances that was not reasonably anticipated and is beyond the reasonable control of Cash Converters.

19.          By participating in the Promotion, the Entrant:

a)              consents to Cash Converters and its contractors or agents to collect, use and disclose personal information about the Entrant information in accordance with Cash Converters Privacy Policy (which can be found at: http://www.cashconverters.com.au/privacypolicy) to Cash Converters, its contractors and agents, for the purpose of conducting the Promotion; and

b)             grants Cash Converters a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide revocable, non-transferable, perpetual licence to use, modify, delete from, add to, publicly display and reproduce their photo including without limitation, in any online media formats and through any social media channels, pages or accounts (Licence).

c)              may revoke Licence at any time by contacting Cash Converters directly through our relevant social media channels, accounts, or socialmedia.au@cashconverters.com and informing Cash Converters that they no longer want their photo used.

20.          To the extent permitted by law, Cash Converters Cash Converters Toowoomba (including their respective officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (whether in contract or tort) for any personal injury; economic loss, or damages (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way through the Promotion out of the following:

a)              any technical difficulties, operational failures or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Cash Converters);

b)             any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;

c)              any variation in the Prize's particulars or value to that stated in these Terms; or

d)             any tax liability incurred by the Prize Winner or Entrant.

21.          The decision of Cash Converters in relation to any aspect of the Promotion will be final and binding.

22.          Failure by Cash Converters to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
