Entrupy is a third-party authentication device using AI technology to determine the authenticity of designer bags and sneakers.
Entrupy devices use a combination of artificial intelligence and microscopy to determine whether an item is authentic, using a scientifically proven approach that better protects you from purchasing fake high-end designer pieces.
When the item is scanned using Entrupy, a set of microscopic images are collected. The Entrupy device then compares these images against a database of millions of photos from known authentic and known fake products to determine if there is a match. The Entrupy device can inspect an item down to the stitch!

Entrupy is used in many of our stores as part of the authentication process of designer goods before they are purchased from the seller. If the item passes Entrupy’s system checks, an Entrupy Authentication Certificate is produced.
When you’re shopping our huge range of designer brands and luxury items online or in-store, look out for the Entrupy tick or ask our team about the item’s authentication. When you purchase an Entrupy authenticated item, you will receive the Entrupy Authentication Certificate to keep.

Cash Converters uses an Entrupy device to scan microscopic pictures of the item into the Entrupy system. These images are compared against known real and fake designer items to determine if the item is authentic. Entrupy’s technology sees things that people can’t with the naked eye – making it almost impossible for even the best fakes to sneak through.
Entrupy authentication software has a 99.1 percent accuracy rate.
Cash Converters does not charge to authenticate goods with Entrupy when buying or selling designer goods.
Entrupy can authenticate most designer brands including Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Nike, Burberry, Cartier, Chanel, Dior, Prada, Fendi, Saint Laurent, Versace, and many more.
Entrupy is available across most Cash Converters stores and is continuing to expand. Get in touch with your local store to find out if they use Entrupy. Entrupy is currently not available at all stores or on all items.
Entrupy does not authenticate watches or jewellery, however these items may come with a valuation certificate from a licenced valuer. If there’s a specific item you’re after and you would like to check if it can be authenticated, get in touch with your local store.
